Wood Type Details

All of our hand-selected wood species are specifically chosen for their durability and strength.

Beech - Our densest and heaviest of all types, although plain looking, Beech is one of the hardest - most durable in our selection. Finished with a clear coat that deepens its color and slightly elevates its character.

Beech (Natural) - This is a custom stain applied to Beech wood to lighten its look and lock in its more natural raw look. Finished with clear coat for maximum color durability.

Beech (Cocoa) - This is a custom stain applied to Beech wood to darken its look and bring out its grain patterns. Finished with clear coat for maximum color durability.

Ash - Our lightest, most characteristic species that endures a lot of hardship during its growth which gives it its unique pattern lines. Finished with a clear coat that slightly elevates its warm color and brings out its character.

Black Walnut - Our most loved, with some knots that add rich character and natural variation of color between the darker (heart of the tree) and lighter (outer rings) that add unique character. Finished with a clear coat, that deepens and elevates its rich color and brings out its character.

Premium Black Walnut - Hand selected from the start by cutting the trunk of the tree following its grain such that all knots and outer rings are avoided, creating the most durable material of its kind while ensuring that only the darkest and deepest parts of the tree are used for maximum luxury. Finished with a clear coat that deepens and elevates its rich color and brings out its character.

Every Shepin Frame is shipped in a custom-built wooden crate, carefully designed to protect all components needed for assembly. The size of your frame determines the size of the crate, and each one is built specifically for your order.

Once your order is on its way, the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery day and time that works best for you.

We understand that receiving a large wooden crate can feel a bit overwhelming for some customers. Because of this, we offer an optional White Glove Delivery Service for an additional fee. This service includes:

  • Assistance with delivery and placement
  • Full unpacking and unwrapping
  • Carrying all parts into your desired room
  • Dismantling the wooden crate
  • Hauling the crate materials to disposal

This way, you can enjoy a smooth, stress-free delivery experience from start to finish.

We are confident you’ll love your new Shepin Frame. However, in the unlikely event you’re dissatisfied with your purchase, please reach out through our contact page and we will assist you with the return process.

We recommend keeping your shipping crate and all packing materials for a few weeks after delivery, just in case you decide to return your order.

We strive to deliver products of the highest quality, but we recognize that occasionally parts may sustain damage during shipping or during the manufacturing process. If any part of your bedroom set arrives damaged or does not meet your expectations, please reach out to us—we will be happy to replace the affected components promptly.

Furthermore, all of our packing materials never include plastics of any kind. Each Part is individually wrapped with soft cardboard and taped using water-activated paper tape - further eliminating non-recyclable materials and waste.
