Wood Type Details

All of our hand-selected wood species are specifically chosen for their durability and strength.

Beech - Our densest and heaviest option, Beech offers exceptional hardness and durability. While its grain is more subtle, it provides a clean, refined appearance. It is finished with a clear coat that enhances its natural tone and adds depth to its character.

Beech (Natural) - This option features a custom stain applied to Beech to achieve a lighter, more natural appearance. The finish preserves the raw aesthetic while a protective clear coat ensures long-term color stability and durability.

Beech (Cocoa) - A custom stain is applied to deepen the tone of the Beech, enhancing its grain patterns and adding richness. It is sealed with a clear coat for lasting protection and color retention.

Ash - Our lightest species, Ash is known for its distinctive grain and natural character, shaped by the conditions it endures during growth. A clear coat finish enhances its warm tones while bringing out its unique patterning.

Black Walnut - A customer favorite, Black Walnut is prized for its rich color variation and natural character, including occasional knots that add depth and uniqueness. The clear coat finish enhances its deep tones and highlights its organic beauty.

Premium Black Walnut - Our highest-grade Walnut is meticulously selected and cut to follow the natural grain, minimizing knots and avoiding lighter outer wood. This process ensures superior strength while showcasing only the darkest, most refined sections of the tree. A clear coat finish enriches its color and elevates its luxurious appearance.

Every Shepin Frame is shipped in a custom-built wooden crate, carefully designed to protect all components needed for assembly. The size of your frame determines the size of the crate, and each one is built specifically for your order.

Once your order is on its way, the freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery day and time that works best for you.

We understand that receiving a large wooden crate can feel a bit overwhelming for some customers. Because of this, we offer an optional White Glove Delivery Service for an additional fee. This service includes:

  • Assistance with delivery and placement
  • Full unpacking and unwrapping
  • Carrying all parts into your desired room
  • Dismantling the wooden crate
  • Hauling the crate materials to disposal

This way, you can enjoy a smooth, stress-free delivery experience from start to finish.

Returns & Replacement Parts

We are confident you’ll love your new Shepin Frame. However, in the unlikely event you’re dissatisfied with your purchase, please reach out through our contact page and we will assist you with the return process.

We recommend keeping your shipping crate and all packing materials for a few weeks after delivery, just in case you decide to return your order.

While we take great care to ensure every product arrives in perfect condition, but we recognize that occasionally parts may sustain damage during shipping or defects during the manufacturing process. If any component arrives damaged or you are unhappy with a specific part of your bedroom set, please contact us—we will gladly replace any affected parts to ensure you are fully satisfied.

To further reduce the impact of deforestation, we’ve partnered with EcoDrive to plant one tree for every product sold, plus an additional tree for every additional product or upgrade.

Furthermore, all of our packing materials never include plastics of any kind. Each Part is individually wrapped with soft cardboard and taped using water-activated paper tape - further eliminating non-recyclable materials and waste.
